Jim Corbitt has served for over 30 years as a church planter, pastor and then director for Outreach North America.  He has overseen the planting and development of scores of new churches throughout the USA.  Jim is one of the national church leaders whom God greatly used in the 70’s and 80’s to help his denomination (Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church) return to its strong, biblical roots and adopt culturally relevant church planting and growth methods—without having a split.  Jim has also developed a church renewal program that has been implemented successfully in several regions of North America.  Jim is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary and holds doctorates from Erskine College and the American Theological Seminary.  Jim and his wife Nancy have two grown sons, Mark and John, and one grandson, Ethan.
