Raised
in East Africa Bob’s life was marked by
adventure and the privilege of living in an
ethnically and culturally diverse setting.
This experience built in him a love and an
appreciation for cultural diversity. Bob
has been married to Chris for 23 years.
They have one son, Taylor, a high school
student.
Bob got his first taste of
church planting experience when he moved to
Florida in 1991 where he helped establish Willow
Creek Presbyterian Church in Winter Springs.
After serving as senior pastor of Coquina
Presbyterian Church in Ormond Beach, Florida, he
and his family moved to Metro-Atlanta in 1998
and planted Christ Presbyterian Church in
Newnan. He was a founding member of
Multiplication Network, which later became the
North Georgia New Church Network.
Bob
earned a Doctor of Ministry from Reformed
Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida with a
thesis entitled “A
Strategy to Enhance the Gospel Ministry of the
PCA outside the Non-Hispanic White Majority”
As the Director of Training, Bob’s primary
objective is to advance church planting through
facilitating and administrating vision,
overseeing training, developing new NCN’s,
forging partnerships with other church planting
networks, and by researching methodologies for
effective church planting.
