Matt
Ryman is an Assistant Pastor at University
Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Orlando, FL. He is
also the Executive Director of Southland Student
Conferences which brings nearly 1,000 students
together at camps and retreats each year. At
one time he was the lead singer of the Chicago
based Punk Rock band, Jinxpack. Matt has toured
the country and played shows with many
well-known punk bands (i.e. Fallout Boy, Rise
Against, The Plain White T’s). Years ago, the
Lord worked a miracle in Matt’s heart. Today he
is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary
and oversees the youth ministry at his church.
While at RTS, Matt worked closely with Dr.
Steve Childers as his teaching assistant. He is
currently integrating GCA’s church planting curriculum
with the latest youth ministry methodology
in order to develop more effective and missional
ways to reach young people with the Gospel. He
is married to Hana and they have one son, Noah.
